Even though, per usual, the solutions are in the back for the first part of the end of chapter problems, I'll post mine as I always do in the hopes that mine might make more sense if you're struggling. In particular, I'll try to post algebraic proofs where the author otherwise provides combinatorial proofs, and vice-versa.
